What is chin filler?

Now, with the developments in dermal fillers, it is possible to achieve a reshaping of the jaw and chin with just injections.

Using naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, dermal filler removes the need for surgery and with only a small amount of swelling and/or bruising, there is minimal recovery time. As we don’t use preformed implants, we can tailor the treatment to your individual needs.

The filler can recontour the chin completely, or simply enhance and define the area as you require. It can also correct any imperfections and deep-set lines on the chin.

We will give you a topical anaesthetic to prevent any pain. After that, we will inject your chin area with dermal filler and fill this area to lengthen your chin giving the appearance of a slimmer face. You will be awake during this procedure so you can see what is going on.

How long will results last?

There may be some swelling and bruising the day after the treatment however as the cosmetic procedure is non-evasive, it is fairly painless and most people will experience little or no bruising. We recommend you leave your face free from creams or make-up for around 12 hours after the procedure in order to avoid infection.
